(MIAMI, Sept. 5, 2008) - The Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM)reminds residents not to place trash on the right-of-way with the threat
of an approaching severe storm and to be prepared to remove materialsfrom their property and the right-of way to prevent trash from becoming projectiles. The DSWM customers may dispose of their trash by taking it to one of the
13 Neighborhood Trash and Recycling Centers listed below. The centers are open daily from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., weather conditions permitting.

The DSWM provides waste collection services to residents of the unincorporated area and residents of the municipalities of Aventura,
Cutler Bay, Doral, Miami Gardens, Miami Lakes, Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest,Sunny Isles and Sweetwater.
