Miami Beach, FL -- The fall season kicks off this October in Miami Beach with a diverse offering of cultural activities that explore everything from politics to architecture through various art forms and mediums. Real life inspires art.
In celebration of national Hispanic Heritage Month, ArtCenter/South Florida (ACSF) presents an art exhibition at Miami Beach City Hall dedicated to the Diaspora of its Latin American artists-in-residence. The 2008 presidential election inspired installations by Margarita Benitez at the South Florida Art Center with her exhibit "State of the Union," as well as Italian artist Franceso Vezzoli at the Wolfsonian with his installation, "Democrazy."

The New World Symphony starts its season with a concert for children followed by the Stravinsky's classic "Firebird," while The Fillmore Miami Beach offers us the best in contemporary hip-hop, world and Latin alternative music featuring concerts by The Roots, Common, The Jaguares, Widespread Panic and more.

Don't miss the final screening of the series "Newman Directs" at the Miami Beach Cinematheque, featuring films produced and directed by the late, great Paul Newman, closing the tribute to one of Hollywood's greatest talents.
