This fall, Martinez-Lanza will begin her senior year at Gulliver Preparatory School. The lifelong Coral Gables resident is considering applying to Ivy League universities, preferably in the northeast. As for a future career, Martinez-Lanza says that’s still up in the air.
“I don’t know what I want to do yet,” says Martinez-Lanza. “I just want to get internships in many different fields to broaden my horizons and test the waters. I like business, law, math; my interests are all over. But hopefully once I continue and maybe start my college career, I can narrow down my interests in to something I know I can be successful at.”
